Qualifying Unemployed People

ALMORTAQA strives to alleviate the phenomenon of unemployment, especially among young people and women. Al-Mortaqa’s programs work across a range of skill sets including technical and craftsmanship, educating, training and developing unemployed people to join the job market. After an Al-Mortaqa program, individuals will be equipped with the confidence and skills to start their own businesses. They will have learnt a range of management competencies enabling them to undertake market survey, identify investment opportunities and conduct economic feasibility studies to support their chosen entrepreneurial activity. ALMORTAQA commitment in this field is not limited to training, development and capacity building: it lends applicants soft loans to pay for starting or developing small and medium-sized projects.
